ABOUT THE BRIDGE:

In 1893 two McDonald trusses were built down the bottom of the long and windy Galston Gorge road to the north of Sydney. The remaining bridge over Tunks creek was the shorter of the two at 65’, with the longer bridge over Berowra Creek (90’) having been replaced with a concrete bridge in the 1930s.
